We took our interactive stand along to The Big Bang - UK Young Scientists & Engineers Fair at the NEC on 15-18 March 2017.  This is the fourth time we have taken part in this inspirational event, and our stand was busier than ever before with our interactive games bringing out the competitive spirit in many.

All the games have been designed and built by the members of our outreach team: 'Crypto Cluster', which teaches the basics of cluster computing and crypto, and 'Byte', a digital storage game,  were created by this year's intake of industrial students.

The 'Vault' and the 'Safe' where visitors have to solve a series of maths challenges were extremely popular as were 'Commander', a game to test your memory,  and  'DoS Defender', a fast-paced reaction game.   We also had many enquiries from students about career opportunities which we hope will bear fruit both for GCHQ and the wider cyber security community in the future.

All our staff really enjoyed taking part in the Big Bang Fair and meeting so many talented youngsters, our scientists of tomorrow.
