A new approach to cyber security in the UK
National Cyber Security Centre Chief Executive Ciaran Martin sets out the UK’s new approach at the Billington Summit in Washington DC.
Yesterday, Ciaran Martin, the current Director-General Cyber at GCHQ and the first Chief Executive of the new National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), spoke at the Billington Cyber Security Summit in Washington DC.
As one of the keynote speakers, Ciaran Martin set out how the new organisation will adopt a more active posture in defending the UK from the range of cyber threats it currently faces, as well as the need for government, industry and law enforcement to work in even closer partnership.
