GCHQ hosts Young Entrepreneurs Competition

Almost 40 pupils from seven Gloucestershire schools were invited to GCHQ to take part in the 2016 Young Entrepreneurs Final.

In partnership with GCHQ, GFutures have devised a programme aimed at encouraging Year 9 pupils to think creatively and develop innovative ideas.

The Young Entrepreneurs programme is based on the ‘Dragons’ Den’ format where teams devise a product or service and with guidance develop a business plan and pitch it to a panel of judges.

The final of the competition is held at GCHQ and this year’s took place on 6 May, further details of the event can be read here.
