GCHQ at the British Military Tournament 2013
News Article - 03 Dec 2013
This year’s British Military Tournament includes a dramatic re-enactment of the seizure of Enigma codebooks from a sinking German U-Boat in October 1942.
Come along to the GCHQ stand and send a secret message on a genuine World War II Enigma machine to Bletchley Park and watch via webcam as messages are decrypted and tweeted back to London by the Bletchley Park Bombe Rebuild team [@Enigma Challenge].
Take a look at the Raspberry Pis that have been programmed to run the whole Enigma/Bombe process.
You will also be able to try your hand at solving some puzzles against the clock to unlock a safe and win a prize.
We look forward to seeing you there.
