Each year we offer a number of sponsorship places.
Check our recruitment website www.careersinbritishintelligence.co.uk
for the most up to date information. We do not offer work placements on
their own, but they are usually tied in to the sponsorship schemes.
Sponsored Undergraduate Technologist
The Sponsored Undergraduate Technologist (SUT) scheme is for technical
students who are in their final or penultimate year of a degree course
in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronic
Engineering, Telecommunications or other related disciplines with a significant
IT component.
The scheme offers an annual bursary, a further grant for books and software,
paid work experience and the possibility of permanent employment after
you graduate.
Entry method: You need to apply in the autumn of the year before
the sponsorship is due to start. Entry is by an application form, sift
and interview.
Civil Service Summer Development Programme
The Civil Service Summer Development Programme is a Cabinet Office led
initiative aimed at giving talented members of ethnic minority communities
experience of working in a Government Department.
Students spend nine weeks on a placement over the summer vacation.
Entry Method: Application is direct to the Civil
Service Fast Stream Summer Development programme.
