GCHQ's heart is its people and its technology. We have said elsewhere that we operate in probably the most complex technological environment in Europe, and harnessing the right people to manage that technology is crucial to our success. Over one third of our workforce are Technologists, with many others having started there and moved into other areas of the business. The diversity of our Technologists is such that they are often recruited under different campaigns and follow different career paths; as a result, we will also launch specific campaigns for experts in a particular field, in addition to the large scale campaigns for Systems Operations, Systems Engineering and Senior Technologist staff. Among others, these include Systems Design, Applied Research and Computer Forensics specialists. |
