The starting salary for new entrant Fast Streamers is £23,977. Occasionally a higher entry grade and salary (set at £29,354) may be authorised by the panel if you are judged to have experience or qualifications considered to be of special value and above the normal entry requirements. If you are already a permanent civil servant, you can get information from your Personnel Division about special rules which may provide a more favourable starting salary. GCHQ operates a system of performance-based pay. Individuals move through the pay ranges appropriate to their grade in accordance with their overall performance rating. Salary is paid monthly in arrears by credit transfer and is reviewed annually in October. |
