Intelligence Analysts: about us

Our analysts work at the sharp end of signals intelligence and specialise in political, military, economic well being and serious crime topics alike, collating and evaluating material, providing reports, briefings or advice for our government and military customers.

They are directly concerned with intelligence work. This work may be of a long term nature: taking a subject, analysing different sources of information, looking for patterns and building up a picture that will be useful to others. Or it could be more short term: evaluating material to see if it contains intelligence, and producing a report if it does.

This fascinating and rewarding role will give you the rare opportunity to contribute to government decision-making through timely, accurate and relevant intelligence. Your reports will attract high-level readership, and will occasionally be published in prestige intelligence media, with visible effects world-wide.

It's an exciting, fulfilling career, with the opportunity to continue to broaden your experience as you progress. You can expect to move positions every 4 years or so, gaining a broad experience both within core intelligence work and in more general support areas. And have the opportunity - if you wish - to build your skills in other areas including personnel, training, finance security or general services. You may also get the chance to study for professional qualifications.
